Big shout-out to Coach Nick, owner of Custom Customs Metal Work and my son’s football coach, for helping make the Fourth of July so special for the team. Nick, along with Cowabunga Bay, hosted the entire football team and their siblings for a full day of fun, sun, and fireworks.
It was a long 10-hour day in the heat, but totally worth it. The park was a blast, the fireworks were an awesome way to end the night, and the team got some much-needed time together off the field.
Thank you to everyone in our community who shows up for these kids and gives back in such meaningful ways!
🏀 Bill Foley joins race for Las Vegas NBA team
The Gist: Golden Knights owner Bill Foley says he's ready to lead a bid for an NBA expansion team in Las Vegas. He also plans to invest up to $400 million to upgrade T-Mobile Arena, making it ready to host both NHL and NBA games if the city lands a franchise.
Why It Matters: Las Vegas has become a major sports city in just a few years, and an NBA team would be another big step. For local fans, it could mean more hometown games, bigger events at T-Mobile Arena, and another team for the community to rally behind.
