Karina and I just celebrated 11 years of marriage. I know it sounds trite, but oh boy does it go fast.
12 years ago we met, 11 years ago we married, 10 years ago Gabe was born, and 8 years ago Alina was born. Time flies when you’re with the right person.
Where is your favorite place on the Westside of Vegas to visit when you have a big milestone to celebrate? What Steakhouses or venues should we put on our radar.

💛 Teen Hope Academy Launches in Nevada

The Gist: Hope Means Nevada has launched Teen Hope Academy, a statewide program teaching teens practical mental health skills. The five-session video program, led by Dr. Glory Finnegan, covers mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, healthy relationships, and recognizing warning signs of crisis.
Students also receive a workbook to continue using the skills beyond the sessions. The program starts at three schools in Henderson, Las Vegas, and Mesquite, with plans to expand statewide.
Why It Matters: Nevada ranks last in youth mental health access, with high rates of depression and suicidal thoughts. Programs like Teen Hope Academy give teens tools, community support, and hope for a healthier future. It’s inspiring to see a program that helps our teens feel supported and cared for.
