I know I talk about this often, but I cannot overstate how much jiu-jitsu has affected our family. I stumbled into jiu-jitsu six years ago during COVID. After a decade of boxing, it was time for a change, and I started this journey at 41 years old. When we moved to Vegas in 2022, I stumbled into 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu in Henderson by accident. It was the closest gym to our new house.
My kids do jiu-jitsu, my wife met her best friend sitting in the stands with the other parents, and my social circle in Vegas is mostly from meeting other practitioners!
I’m healthier, happier, and more skilled at 47 than I was at 37. With training centers in Henderson, Mid-City, and on the Westside, I highly recommend you and/or your family check out a class with 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu. The owner, Casey Halstead, has become a close personal friend, and he has created a great culture within the studios.
