🍜 Japanese ramen and sushi arrive in Chinatown
The Gist: Super Kyuramen has opened its second U.S. location in Las Vegas’ Chinatown, bringing Japanese ramen, sushi, shareable small plates and craft cocktails to Spring Mountain Road. The nearly 5,200-square-foot restaurant is open daily until 2 a.m.
Why It Matters: For anyone looking for a late-night meal, it gives Chinatown another Japanese dining option with plenty to share, from sushi and yakitori to dumplings and fried chicken, plus a wide range of ramen styles.
🥢 Chinese favorites worth trying

Ellie’s Chinese Restaurant has a big menu with plenty of options for sharing. The dim sum portions are generous, and the menu includes favorites like salted fish and chicken fried rice, soy sauce chicken and combination crispy noodles.
You’ll also find Hong Kong-style sweet and sour pork, garlic pork ribs and spicy chicken. It’s an easy option for a family meal when everyone is craving something a little different.
🌵 A fun stop for plant lovers

If your yard is looking a little too bare, Mojave Bloom Nursery is worth a look. You’ll find native and desert-adapted plants alongside houseplants, pots, gardening supplies and some fun nature-inspired gifts.
The selection includes plenty of plants you won’t find at every nursery, and the staff can help if you’re not sure what will work in your space. They also offer gardening classes throughout the month, so there’s always something new to learn or take home..
