If you’re a fight fan, follow them now so you can say, “I knew them back when…”
As they work their way from the amateur ranks toward professional fighting careers, they’ve recently had the advantage of fighting locally.
I have been a lifelong boxing fan, was an amateur boxer for a decade before I found jiu-jitsu at 40 years old, and used to watch the UFC on VHS tapes back in high school. Being able to train alongside these up-and-coming “kids” as they follow their dreams of becoming professional fighters has been awesome. Seeing their recent wins in person is a treat. It’s one of the advantages of living here in the fight capital of the world.
Are you an MMA fan? Have you been to an event live? If not, I recommend it. It’s a great atmosphere, and you can get tickets through promotions like Tuff ’N Uff for under $50!

The Gist: A new WalletHub study ranked Las Vegas as the best U.S. city for recreation, based on factors like parks, activities, sports facilities, and entertainment options. Henderson also made the list, ranking No. 21.
