🎇 First look: Summerlin’s massive new park and all its perks

I’m an avid follower of your newsletter. Your recommendations for food and events are always on point, so it makes sense that I think of West Vegas HQ when I come across a hidden gem.

It’s a restaurant that’s been around for a while but has just been revamped to bring in a different type of crowd and environment. It’s called La Sorelle on Rainbow between Hacienda and Russell. It used to be more of a mom-and-pop spot, and now they’ve switched it up to a swanky hookah bar on one side and a restaurant/bar on the other. It’s definitely the spot for local nightlife. It’s so affordable, and the food menu is gourmet, definitely strip-quality dining.

It’s now going to be my go-to for a late dinner, date night, or when I have friends in town that I want to entertain. Please check them out, the owners work there every day to ensure everything’s on point.

The Gist: A portion of Summerlin West’s 90-acre Grand Park is now open to the public. The park features baseball fields, playgrounds, pickleball courts, a splash pad, fitness areas, basketball courts, and picnic spaces. It’s the largest park in Summerlin and will open in three phases.

Why It Matters: Grand Park adds new recreational space and amenities for residents and families across the community. This first phase gives locals a fun, active spot to enjoy the outdoors and stay connected.
